Make Keozen look like a fool!

Postby keozen » Fri Nov 02, 2007 3:40 pm UTC

Ok, the story goes thus. i WAS going to be going out for Halloween around town for a few drinks. I therefore decided that it'd be a great idea to use the box my flatscreen TV came in, cut head, arm and leg holes, decorate it as a book and go as Dracula (the book).

Well, I only got as far as cutting the holes before the night out was canceled HOWEVER I now have a box that fits me to a tee and is the perfect base for a costume.

The game is thus, using the following base (me wearing said box) devise the most imaginative/silly, etc costume I could make and store in the garage for the next fancy dress party to come around:

My friend once went as a Weetabix, by applying paste to the box and rolling it in crushed Weetabix. Will have a little think and post ideas. Fun.

Washing machine is good too. I was one a few years ago, with some clothes in the front and the pull-out box thingie for putting suds in. The only problem with box-shaped costumes is that it's a nightmare to get back up when you're inevitably pushed over.

As stated, you could go as a box (for example the MGS box).

Alternatively, you could paint it like a house and wear a blond toupee so you'll be like Alice when she grows up in Alice in Wonderland. Cross dressing is always funny!

BTW, wouldn't this topic fit more in General?

You could be a dick in a box.

What? Just walk around in the box and act like a jerk.

You preverts.

Make it look like some sort of x-ray machine, ie. showing your skeleton through the box.

Why cross-dress when you can just say your gender waveform hasn't been collapsed at the quantum level?

For effect, you could paint interlocking male and female signs on the front, with a kitty and a bottle of cyanide where they overlap.

So I've gone double-post mad, get over it.

EDIT to previous two posts especially the last one: yes I know it's a bit XKCD-centric. Would only really work to a XKCD meetup party.

A quick Google image search reveals: a woman dressed as a box of tissues; a box of crayons costume, a jack-in-the-box, various people presumably dressed as a box of <insert fav product here>, a carton of milk costume, a wrapped gift, and a box jellyfish which was kinda funny but only with explanation.

You could also probably do something slightly vulgar with the fact that box is a euphemism for something else.
