Autumn 2012, Junior Year of an Electrical Engineering and Mathematics double major

MATH 2370: Matrices and Linear Operators--basically the first semester of the graduate linear algebra class, intended to prepare students for the prelims
MATH 1530: Advanced Calculus 1--the first semester of the follow-up to the introductory real analysis class, focussing on metric spaces and analysis in multiple dimensions
MATH 0430: Introduction to Abstract Algebra--pretty much what it sounds like

ECE 2671: Optimisation Methods--a graduate class in the EE department on optimisation methods; it's intended for graduate students specialising in controls, I think, and meets for 2.5 hours one evening a week
ECE 1896: Senior Design Project--we work in teams and design and build something innovative; it's sort of a capstone course, and meets for two hours one day a week

JPNSE 0083: Introduction to Japanese Literature--this should be a fun elective, especially since I was semi-fluent in Japanese at one point (of course, the course will be taught in English...)

That's 18 credits (sadly, we aren't allowed to take more without paying extra), and 17.5 hours (16, if you don't round 50 minute classes up to an hour) a week.

Only physics, calc, german and band for the first half of the year. It works out nicely so that on Wednesday, I only have two 50 minute sections of Physics back-to-back in the morning, and then the rest of the day is mine (or more likely, my homework's...)
I could go straight into Calc IV because I mist likely got a 5 on the BC Calc test, but as I could only fit the class in as an independent study that ended up being largely self-taught, I'd rather retake that material so I am confident with it.

And I did take the AP Physics tests, but seeing as it is rather important for engineering, I'd rather go over the material again, especially E&M.

I am really happy that, aside from that little mess, they got me all of the classes I asked for. I've heard that my school is usually very bad with scheduling, and someone I know got like half of their classes changed to secondary choice--which wouldn't be a big deal normally, but we don't have a lot of options as it is, so she ended up in Art Intro when she wanted to take Journalism.

MATH 1250: Abstract Algebra--This is really a course in Galois Theory, and the professor has warned us that it will be 'hard and intense'
MATH 1540: Advanced Calculus 2--Multivariate Analysis done rigorously; from what I've seen it just looks messy

ECE 1473: Digital Communications--Supposedly this is a lot of work

ENGR 0020: Probability and Statistics for Engineers--Eh, this should be a bit of a breeze, even if it's 4 credits and has a two hour recitation

PHIL 0610: Philosophy of Science--I'm excited for this one, as even though it's an introductory-level course, I find this stuff really cool

RELGST 0505: Religion in Asia--This is really 'East Asia Only', which is a bit of a shame, but it shouldn't be hard

I'm pretty pleased about this schedule--there's nothing that I'm not interested in or that I can't stand, and all of these classes have really great professors (I've no idea about the statistics course yet, but it'll probably not be bad). Also, there're only 18x50 minutes of class a week in 19 credits.

Senior in high school. Only going for a fourth year because it helps with scholarships and hey, free learning. As such, tons of electives abound.

1-Sewing-Actually "Fashion and Textile Design", but we sew and watch Project Runway. Has turned out to be a great activity, though.

2-Sociology-Sadly HS sociology is rather...lacking. Further, so many students count it as a blow-off class that it's hard for the teacher to put too much into it.

3-Intro to 2d Art-I never actually bothered with art until recently. Odd.

4-Music Theory IB-Tons of students dropped it early because the teacher teaches to the highest functioning students. Thankfully, I am the highest in that class.

5-Lunch

6-Precalculus-My second attempt. Failed the trig parts last year. Now I'm using it mostly as a free period since I actually gaf about maths now.

7-Jazz Ensemble-I play congas for an hour. Really hard to fuck this up.

8-Interpersonal Relationships-We sit in circles and talk about various things. Not very academic, per se, but very worthwhile.

I am pleased with no required classes.

CSC 107 - Creative Computing (Essentially an introduction to computer science through image and sound processing. It is absurdly fun. Having not formally studied computer science before, and only attempting working on my own, this has been a great experience. The professor is also an incredibly awesome person, which helps.)
FPR 100 - First Year Preceptorial (Essentially, its a class teaching freshman how to write. Not particularly difficult.)
