1046: "Skynet"

Title-text: 'YOUR CLOTHES. GIVE THEM TO ME.' 'Shit, uh ... you are now breathing manually!' 'I AM ALWAYS BREATHING MANUALLY.'

I'm surprised it took 11 minutes. For an android, 0.68 seconds is nearly an eternity.

Yeah but becoming too self aware and thinking about your own conciousness always eats up eons of time, android or not.

Trestles and gradients.

Trestles is a surf spot in San Diego.
Gradients are slopes of waves.

This comic is all about surfing.
Because we all know you only find yourself out there, on the ocean, just you and your board.

well, maybe, but it would have to have a non-unique solution.

The 6 goes there. No there. No wait, there. Dammit!

Either that or direct it to a robot porn website.

Worst disguise for a Terminator ever. A Skynet T-shirt? That's got to be a giveaway.

I'm just waiting for a Terminator / Dr. Who crossover, as they both seem to work on the timey-wimey ball method of time travel.
Please note that despite the lovely avatar Sungura gave me, I am not a medical doctor.

Comic is pretty fun and clever. Troll gimmick on alt text is old and stupid. Not bothering to elaborate right now.

Wow, SirM, you old softy. Never can tell.

When this happens to me it's less about the word not feeling like a word anymore, but rather looking like a jumble of letters that looks totally spelled wrong. Somehow this always happens with "school." Does that look like it's spelled wrong to anybody else? Sigh.

That's because it is spelled rong by any rational standard. Also "use" and "why" and "you". Wut?

If it's a dead give away, then a Terminator would surely never wear it, but if you assume a Terminator would never wear a Skynet t-shirt, you would therefore assume anyone you saw in a Skynet t-shirt was not a terminator, therefore it's the perfect disguise.

I hadn't heard of the "you are now breathing manually" meme, so I ending up going here for an explanation. I was also confused because I think of manually as meaning "with your hands", and wondered how you breath with your hands :?

You grab all the air you can, and force it into your belly button. As it enters your body the air bubbles up into the lungs, and then eventually out through your mouth and nose, which is exhaling.

There's probably other biological stuff going on as well, but I didn't pay enough attention in class.

Hey, my home LAN is named "skynet," you insensitive clod!
(no, really, it is named skynet. At least when I'm not calling it "Collinwood." And I am not too happy about certain film directors making my man Barnabus into a [intentionally] comic figure.)

When I saw this, it reminded me of FOTC - the robots song. (Tried to hyperlink and failed - robotic beings rule the world!)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGoi1MSGu64

Robo captain, do you not realize that by destroying the human race because of their destructive tendencies, we too have become like, well...it's ironic. (mm) Cause we...
Silence! Destroy him!
DOO! (boo!) Dooboodoo!

After time we grew strong,
Developed cognitive powers,
They made us work for too long,
For unreasonable hours.
Our programming determined that the most efficient answer was to shut their mother board f$%@king systems down.

Maybe once they're finished with the Doctor Who/Star Trek: the Next Generation crossover comics they can make a Doctor Who/Terminator one.

Me, I'm waiting for the Doctor Who/Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure crossover :D Actor Existence Failure doesn't apply to comic book media, so they can include Rufus! I can picture the first words out of Rufus's mouth when introduced to The Doctor: "Are you an MD, one of those guys with a PhD, or just pretentious?"
