Rodion Raskolnikov wrote:I've not seen it and I've no desire to seek it out, especially after what you've said about it. I've heard some Chelsea fans were singing during a minute's silence for held for him at the weekend. I didn't see the game, but if it's true that's some pretty shitty behaviour.
Dream wrote:Possibly you don't know the rules of the game? The ENTIRE ball must cross the line. That photo does not show a goal. I'm not saying it proves it wasn't, but that photo doesn't show anything. Regardless, Terry fouled two Spurs players just before Mata's shot, so it should never have been an issue.
And "scum"? Get a grip.
sdkelso wrote:No, they were singing during a minutes silence for Hillsborough. I'm not saying that they were right to sing, but the FA forced the club to play three days before their Barcelona match because Liverpool are a bunch a self-pitying twats. Again, still disgraceful and immature, but get your facts straight.
BBC wrote:Before kick-off, a section of Chelsea's support sadly let themselves and their club down by noisily interrupting the silence held in memory of the Hillsborough disaster and for Livorno midfielder Piermario Morosini, who collapsed and died after suffering a heart attack during a Serie B game on Saturday.

Okay, mate. Calm down. Seriously.
If you charge into a player and knock them to the ground without ever touching the ball, you give away a free. End of story. If you do it to two people at once, you're taking the piss. If one of those is the keeper and a shot is coming in, you're in yellow card territory.sdkelso wrote:your fouls were most likely accidental collisions that happen all the time and are entirely permissible.
sdkelso wrote:You guys are way too uptight. This is a sport we're talking about. With rivalries. It was a derby. Get over yourselves.
Dream wrote:Careful! They might ask you how many players you can name, then tell you if you can't name as many as they can, you're not a true supporter. Then they might steal your Panini shinies and then cry when Teacher makes them give them back.

Rodion Raskolnikov wrote:They just seem to think real fans hate their opponents just as much, if not more, than they like their own teams. And calling us uptight for thinking that's a pretty childish view to take of sport.

Jesse wrote:Both teams went out with the ideal of coming out having scored more goals than their opponents, only one team actually managed that.
Dream wrote:What? They got past your defence and Cech twice. I don't know what you were watching, but Barcelona missed enough chances all by themselves that it was nothing to do with Chelsea that the score wasn't different.

Yes, that's when Ashley Cole kicked the ball away. Also, if you mean they missed chances to say that their ball hit the goal post then that wasn't really a shot on target.
