Given the latest rumors (http://techcrunch.com/2010/12/01/google-social-emerald-sea/), perhaps this map should be edited to include an Emerald Sea?

I was thinking about this map.
This man put a great deal of labor into this map.

This map changes. The winds of human interest blow minds across this map.

E-mail and online games. U-tube and Facebook.

I am still, mildly, interested in the map.

I have reached the point in my development as an individual person that I wonder what is real.
Are the movies real? No. Movies are like books. Some are about real things. But, they are not real.

A book and a movie can not hurt me. Nor, you, if, you are exist at all.

Who puts the news on the internet? Who filters the news?

I have been watching international news. International news has blank spots.
Life is, just, an exchange of electrons; It is up to us to give it meaning.

We are all in The Gutter.
Some of us see The Gutter.
Some of us see The Stars.

They do terrible things to people that Tell Them.

I did not think the xkcd fora were quite that big. also, what's the small extension to #xkcd?

why yes, I did flip back and forth between the two looking for differences.

It would be neat to see how it's changed in the past seven years. I wonder where this forum is there? It's probably too small to be seen...

One would assume. "Forums" broadly in the existing map is about the land area of Google Buzz, or maybe three Reddits.
So much depends upon a red wheel barrow (>= XXII) but it is not going to be installed.

Why is Sulawesi still intact in that map? Is Sulawesi that popular in the internet?
Finally found one comic mentioning a Trading Card Game:

You seem to be walking through every xkcd comic in chronological order, and replying to threads as though they were new comics, and you were the first person to post about them.

This comic is from the year two thousand and ten. Using data from the spring and summer of that year (northern-hemisphere spring and summer, that is, so the first half of the year). The text on the comic itself says that.

Things change.

And the other text on the comic explains why the word "Sulawesi" is written so small as to be almost illegible on the full-size version of the comic, and about four pixels on the comic page itself. I wouldn't have found it, except for it being on the "regional bay". That should tell you how popular it was, even 8 years ago. It is (was, rather) not that popular, but this comic includes everything.

I mean, even as someone who lives in the country where Sulawesi is located, I don't recall anything worldly popular about it in 2010.

Oh I remember number 0802. One of the best xkcd comics I've ever looked at A++ "Online Communities" maps things would look at... much more.
