Alt: The same goes the one where you're wrestling the Green Ranger in the swimming pool full of Crisco. You guys all have that dream, right? It's not just me. Right?

I don't think it counts, joee, if school will never be a distant memory for you.

Weird; today's the only day I actually remember my dream from the night before.

But as much as school sucks now, I think I'll look back fondly on it in future.

It's true.* Decades have passed and I had this dream again several days ago.

* Except for the Crisco part. Crisco shortening? Because that would be really challenging.
Try the Printifier for xkcd. You can now scale the comic between 50 and 150%.

I find these very useful: Common Errors in English Usage (web site) and Eats, Shoots & Leaves (book). You may, too.

I have nightmare's about school all the time =/

Usually they feature missed classes and overdue assignments (usually important ones)

And sometimes they make me wake up in the middle of the night and get all the way to opening my backpack before realizing that I finished that assignment a month ago.

I have had that dream, only I am in an old shed, and no one else is there, and all the wood smells like urine, then I am paralyzed and I realize that I am dreaming, and I struggle to wake up, mentally jumping back and forth between this world and my imaginary one, panicking and thinking I will never escape.

Also, one time I dreamed that I killed Zombie Einstein, only he was the claymation-looking one from the Microsoft Word assistants list. That was my favorite dream.

Obligatory:

Randall, please exit my brain.

I was reading a page on lucid dreaming, and they kept mentioning this over...and over...

I had this dream a few weeks ago. Right when I woke up, I was really pissed off at myself, but then I started to get rid of the mental fog, I realized it was only a dream.

...and then I found $5....

I think it's really creepy that this comic is coming out RIGHT when I was about to go to sleep.

I don't know how I can sleep now.

I dont have that dream so much as I live it on a daily basis and as for the alt text I present you the obligatory RANDALL GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!

Graduated in '01, still have this dream every few weeks.
And also my "holy crap why am I in basic training again" dream every few months.
I will agree that you will probably never stop having these dreams...

Huh. I don't have this dream.

But I do have the one about having to run to be on time at a job I left 2 years ago. In many ways, not limited to it being Gamestop, what Randall proposes is a far happier future.

Well Randall, I may not have the same dream as you, I have fantasized more than once about being with the Green Ranger. However, I called him Tommy and I was too busy playing his Dragon Dagger to even call him anything. And for clarification, yes, I am a guy. Not gay but I think its only a matter of time where I play for both sides.

Oh, lord, I don't have any of the "usual" dreams (being chased, going to school naked, all the ones I've ever heard people talk about as being "universal"), but that dream, I know. So very well. I've only been out of university about a year (and I'm going back in August, god help me), but even when I was in, and every few months since then, I swear I have had THIS EXACT DREAM. The impending assignment in a class I somehow forgot I even had. It's not really a nightmare, but it's about as close as I get.

The one in the comic, anyway. The alt-text... sorry, can't help you there.

I'm still in college so I don't worry about my learning.
I have had dreams about fighting power rangers with silly string so that was surprisingly close.

ameretrifle reminded me:
I have had dreams where I am trapped in my old high school and an alarm is going off and I can't get out of the building. the alarm ends up being my phone alarm.
I can't recall any school assignment ones yet.
I wanted a signature. I don't know what to put here yet.

I still have this dream about high school. It would be less baffling if it was at least an undergrad scenario.

Interestingly, after becoming a nude model, I stopped having the "naked in the cafeteria" dream: I guess the idea of it became less embarrassing.

Seeing as how I was just at Disney World and got my picture taken with the Green Ranger, only to come back to find a project due....

Randall, let me out of your head! I don't like your dreams.

I'm in college, but I keep having dreams that I'm neglecting a high school project.

Therefore,

Get out of my head, Randall!

It's midterms season here in College, so I feel like I like in the dream part already.

In other news; As a young girl (2nd, 3rd grade) I had a crush on the Green Power Ranger. When the neighborhood girls played Power Rangers we fought over who got to be the Pink Power Ranger and who got the date the Green Power Ranger.

Good times. :)

NO WAY! I thought I was alone in having this nightmare. You described it perfectly Randall.

I wake up sometimes I feel like I've been missing a class for half a semester and have been way behind on my homework. Its such a horrible feeling.

I've had this dream after I was really, REALLY sleep deprived from final papers. I woke up that morning freaking out because I thought I actually did have a big project/paper due, but I couldn't remember what. At the end of the day I realized it was really a dream.

I'm glad to see this will still be happening in the later years of my life.

And ya, this is still the only real nightmare I have, since getting over that Bugs Bunny Jeckyll and Hyde episode back in the 0th grade.

The worst dream is when I dream I get up, shower, eat, get dressed, drive to work, then wake up and realize I have to do it ALL OVER AGAIN!

Off to see if Randall successfully planted either of his dreams in my head....

I have this dream occasionally. I'll be late to a class, or I'll miss it entirely and then it turns out I've missed others. Then I wake up and realize I finished that class months (or years) ago. Then, of course, I have to run through my real schedule and make sure I'm going to the right ones. Not fun.

I dreamt this last night. It was Statistics 415, and to make things even more fun I was naked. It wasn't even a difficult class.

I graduated in spring 1988, or almost 21 years ago.

Because Randall is a genius and graduated from college when he was 12. Sometimes I wonder if Randall really is 20 years older or something. He really touches on the modern human condition in a lot of his comics quite well.
