An interesting Ikea experiment, perhaps?
This is my mum's greatest fear on ebay...although not specifically a bobcat.

I laughed.

Your feedback might even be higher due to the off chance that someone who orders your stuff is also a cat loving masochist.

I love this. I couldn't stop laughing for about a minute, just because I imagined someone actually doing that.

My mom just pointed out that it isn't a bobcat because it has a tail. Duh. I'm going to give Randall the benefit of the doubt and assume that anyone receiving a large angry cat in the mail probably isn't going to be noticing that part.

The title of this comic is perfect.
Also, it reminds me of Futurama...

Another amazing comic. (Funniest in a couple weeks, IMO.)

Alt Text: You can do this one in every 30 times and still have 97% positive feedback.

But, on a serious note, that alt text is scary. I guess I'll think twice next time before ordering from someone with 97% feedback. It's not that I don't like large angry felines or anything, but I have a feeling that they just wouldn't like me.

I laughed my head off for the longest time. I actually really want to set up an account on ebay now to do stuff like this. Send people dick tracy dolls instead of xbox 360s. And it is the guy who received the package calling it a bobcat. Doesn't mean he is right.

I'm thinking that instead of sending people bobcats,
for now on, every time i buy something from ebay or amazon, i'm simply going to put this in the feedback form, regardless of what they actually send me.

you ever buy something on amazon, and then a week later they're pestering you with emails about leaving feedback?
they wont bother me anymore... :-P

edit: Only, i'll leave it as positive feedback, and change it to "Would buy again!"
but still with the bobcat...

cause ya know, if this ever did happen to me, i'd probably be delighted as hell!

Haha, first thought was the bash.org quote:

<Meph|st0> Complaint : BOUGTH IT FOR MY COUSIN WHO HAD CANCER, ITEM NEVER ARRIVED AND MY COUSIN DIED
<Meph|st0> thats the greatest ebay feedback i have ever seen

It's very well possible that he put in a completely normal housecat, and the act of shipping the cat turned it into a bobcat. It is also possible that this is one of those Schrodinger's Box scenarios. He could have put in a ferret and it would have metamorphosed into a bobcat. That's called Quantum Mechanics!

Um, actually that has nothing to do with the Schrodinger cat experiment. Since the cat was observed before being put into the box, there is certainty that the cat is a cat. Add a completely sound-proof, sense-proof box with a random beta decay and a contraption to kill the cat, then you've got some uncertainty of life or death.

As soon as I saw the cat and the box I thought for sure it was going to reference Schrodinger, but no luck. Oh well, it's overdone anyway.

I think I'm gonna reply to this one, since I currently do need a new office chair. I mean, read the description. That's one nice chair. Certainly worth the price.

Well, probably the bobcat would die enroute. So you'd have a dead bobcat.

I guess you could get it stuffed, that'd be kinda cool. Intense, but also cool.

Don't get me wrong, I like weird, but not dead rotted animal weird.

Because Futurama is a hard package of win with a creamy nougat filling.

Also, I love the look in the last panel, hes come to the realization the best he can do is give negative feedback.

You could always devise a kit for packaging and posting a live bobcat, probably including food and water dispensers built into the box. And then you could sell it on ebay, along with a surprise sample bobcat.

I spent a large part of my summer on eBay as part of my job...this is greatly appreciated. eBay feedback vernacular is a peculiar little thing.
