Woot! Has everyone seen Princess Leia's Stolen Death Star Plans?

For obvious reasons it reminds me of all those nifty OTTifications we wrote. Except as far as I know, no one ever covered the entire story of Time by OTTifying every track of a classic album in sequence, the way Palette-Swap Ninja has done with Star Wars (Episode IV) and Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Not yet, anyhow.

Purplepants77 ottified the entirety of Tool's album 10,000 Days to roughly tell the story of Time. But actually RECORDING an entire ottified album, that'd be another level of ambitious... though OTTers have never been afraid of taking on ambitious ideas!

This gets me thinking... AFAIK the GLR's Works are handwritten... Since it's so close to Comic Sans, that means it's probably not too difficult to actually write in Comic Sans. In the unlikely event I ever have kids, I'm going to teach them that, just to troll their teachers!

Don't be silly. It sounds like he ran into an elephant. If this were a Disney movie, it could serve as an airlift (in case he did get a flat tire), but in most normal cases, running into an elephant would not be good news.

If it is, I can certainly sympathize. Had the same thing happen to me last night. The offending splinter of glass has already been identified and retrieved from the tire.

Mustardy as that was, in that situation it was at least molpish to live in a city where there is a good tram service to get myself and my currently not so useful bike back home instead.

Well, for that event on Drawception all games were non-vet, so in general the games themselves were...a pretty mixed bag. Quite a bit of trolling, etc. A sampling of the final panels of the games Rosetta appeared in with links to the games (bear in mind these all started identically with the prompt "a princess in a castle"):

Acquire (borrow?) snakes. Feed them well. Tape their mouths closed. Take them to the arranged location. Assign (trained) people to take care that the snakes aren't hurt, and don't just leave. Take a wolpy, put a shock collar on it, and put it on a long line. Have a veterinarian /dog trainer holding the controls to the collar. Have the owner walk the wolpy toward snake number one. When it checks out the snake, push the shock button. Repeat if needed. Go to snake number two, repeat as needed. Next wolpy. I believe they did 40 wolpies that day. (As far as I know it was the same two snakes for everyone. - one Eastern Diamondback and one Water Moccasin.) They did appear to be pretty cranky, but as far as I know, snakes are always cranky. Other than the tape, they were able to exhibit their normal snake behavior. (And did so.)

Not sure where the snakes live when they aren't teaching dogs lessons, but I'm sure they weren't wild snakes. I paid $60/dog for the class.

We had some rain here, which was much needed, but came a bit more all at once than was preferred. Lost power for a couple hours, but the trees all stayed trees, and the fences stayed fences. (Roads considered becoming rivers, but have stayed roads.)

Hey Aluísio, that's great! I've been downloading, but truth-be-told, I much prefer listening your way too (assuming that a play button on the original BSTA page is too hard). Are you going to have to download every attachment by hand to add to chirpingmustard? And if so, is there a way I can help?

Don't be silly. It sounds like he ran into an elephant. If this were a Disney movie, it could serve as an airlift (in case he did get a flat tire), but in most normal cases, running into an elephant would not be good news.

Yeah, well let's see: which is more likely, a flat tire or an elephant?
We've got a sound of exasperation - could be either.
And we've got a drawing of a cyclist looking straight ahead, not down, straddling a bicycle with round tires.
Elephant is definitely more likely.

Regardless, sorry to hear about your tire, svenman. Even though it was better than an elephant, it wouldn't have been much fun.

Well, I didn't write any sort of script for it (yet).
I think the easiest way would be for balthasar_s to reencode the audio files with MP3 or Vorbis (though my naive reencoding with the latter sounded like a summoning circle) or maybe even Opus (which might be more appropriate to voice, but generates much larger files than the others for me—maybe because I used the same settings I use to put music on my phone). He could keep the original WAV files available, of course.
