JoJ is behaving rather touchy, it seems to me. It is possible, though doubtful, that he has to play "angrily" as part of his role. This is tentative at best, and is based upon this:
Wikipedia wrote:Hafnium does react in air to form a protective film that prevents any further reaction(s).

Protective film = Must behave defensively? Tenuous, I know. Just thought I'd mention it. The reason it even occurred to me is because of

With regards to frogman v. Entropy, I'm happy to wait until tomorrow before doing anything. We also must remember that it is possible that Entropy is scum, especially as his "70% sure"-ness leaves him leeway should frogman turn out to be innocent.

I agree, JOJ seems very much like a panicked scum. And if I were desperate enough to roleclaim, I'd claim powers as well. After all, Carbon doesn't sound like scum yet it was cult leader. So claiming just an element doesn't have much worth, unless you were hasty and panicked and couldn't think up believable fake powers.

Okay, so I count five vote on the jam jar. Good place to hold until we get word back on the electron transfer. Oddity I noticed is that Entropy keeps using "element 55" instead of the proper name "cesium". I am curious about that.

Mod Notice
Both Me and Sungura are going out for the day (though not together). This is an official notice that once someone has a majority of votes on them it will be night, no matter what. Which means no talking. If I come back and find out that people have actually been discussing the game in thread while we were gone there will be consequences.

Thanks Kells :) Apologies for not ending day myself, I was able to IM kells to stop the day for me, and I guess I beat Bulvox back.

A quick daykill by NaR made everyone rush to figure out who to lynch. In the end, poor hafnium, who only need haf (half, for those who don't get the pun) votes to lynch was killed. As the day closed, no new elements turned cultnium and the radiation fallout from the day before killed peevo. It was a good day for the towniums, one who even made a beautiful bracelet and gifted it to Lanicita. What does this bracelet do? No one yet knows.

Jar'o'Jam is dead - he was hafnium, started townium, synthesized to mafiums, died as a mafium.
Peevo is dead - he was neptunium, mafiums

Night Two starts now. Don't forget to have all night actions in to Bulvox and I within 48 hours please!

The sun arises, the light scattering off the table. It reflects off a pretty bracelet, apparently Lanicita left it behind. You see, she was smart and figured out it was a tracking device. Luckily, she had nothing to hide, but still, who wants to be tracked? The elements were still rejoicing from knocking out the carbon cult leader. That crazy C had it coming anyway. But then they noticed yet another element was missing...where was Tungsten? They found him all burnt out, dead.

MoA was killed by the mafia. He was townium, Tungsten.

It is now Day 3.

16 remain, 9 to lynch.

If the bracelet has the potential to confirm people who have nothing to hide (aka townees), I wonder if we should encourage someone else to try to pick it up? For instance, frogman?

Oh good, now I am double confirmed as town :) Too bad it wasn't used on scum though. And MoA was under suspicion before, so if a townie had to die I'm glad it was at least one that could have been at risk of being lynched.

I have been trying to work some things out, and my suspicion of element 55 may not have been as well founded as I thought. I still think that the frog warrants an investigation. However, after subtracting nine, my primary suspicion is now focused on element 46, and my confidence is over 95%.

Honestly, that's what I was thinking when I first read those posts. Now that I give it a bit more contemplation, I don't worry about it as much. Maybe a full roleclaim would get him NK'd instantaneously or something. Who knows?

I imagine Gojoe posted without thinking too deeply about things, or just posted his first opinion so as to get an accusation out there, but he doesn't seem too scummy to me just yet. (Though really Gojoe, you should know better :P)

peevo in reply to cvsoul wrote:What Gojoe posted doesn't really seem that scummy to me. When I first read what Entropy said, I immediately thought "this doesn't sound pro-town". After a little bit of thought, I decided that it could be. Entropy's reaction didn't really help either, in my opinion. He seemed to want everyone to ignore what he said, as soon as possible.

And that red fog doesn't sound good. Perhaps Princess knows what's going on?

I strongly suspect gojoe and peevo are linked.

Also, he's been an active contributor, but I couldn't find anything particularly insightful or useful in his posts.

Clearly Entropy is not allowed to say the name of whatever element he has suspicions of. I'm not sure why this is or what it might indicate though. If he's to be believed, he also may be restricted from claiming his role.

Well there is. And I am it. I mean that is not my only power. I have a few rad powers ontop of that. Just a traitor

There were 3 mafia members, me vieto and peevo. And I was a traitor. If we lynch vieto and he is town, I will be the first to vote for myself. Also if he is mafia, I will allow others to tell me who to use my mafia power against.

actually, amy do I still get my mafia kill if I am by myself?

MaJ, JoJ started as town. Hence he wouldn't necessarily have to comply with this supposed five-letter rule.

See, I strongly suspect that entropy's target has a five letter username too.
So, I might just

for now.

But, gojoe, a MT in a mafia of three - with no claiming and naming restrictions?!

I would think traitors are not allowed to claim, as that would make things much too easy for town. Therefore, I can think that the only reason Gojoe is claiming traitor is because he is mafia, and is trying a last ditch measure to stay alive. I mean, the traitor might try something cryptic, but the very fact that Amy hasn't done anything probably means that Gojoe isn't the traitor, if there is one.

Frogman picked up the bracelet left behind by Lanicita and put it on. But the battery in the tracker was dead, it only worked for one night. Bored, he took it off. But all of a sudden, a cry was heard from the lovely Lanicitia! What could be the matter? They all rushed to her aid, but alas found her strangled. The bracelet was back on her wrist, but alas, battery being dead, it didn't tell anyone a thing.

The bracelet is not in the game now.
Lanicita was murdered, she was townium, Helium.
