@Sabrar: you said you were reading me as more likely town earlier on when you took your first vote off me today, what changed?

I had assumed that we would both die immediately upon lynch, even if the mod was not technically around to call the lynch. But I actually don't know.

If it worked that way then it could lead to a 2nd lynch immediately after being hammered at the wrong time.

I find it somewhat worrying that you wouldn't check this.

Nothing changed, I just find others more likely to be town.

Lovers dies immediately when their partner is lynched, this was the second thing I checked with the mod.

Stupid phone, somehow missed Vicarin's vote on Maven. We can start there as well if people would prefer it, just get it going.

I'm fine with starting with Maven. Vicarin is at least around and doing stuff. Better if we don't need to wait for the lurkers to vote.

LaserGuy and Sabrar's lovers claim puts a new angle on LaserGuy's wam vote. In that context it does make sense.

I would like freezeblade to be voted off first because we might need Vicarin's vote to do that. It's a bit tricky with the unknown status of the mod-prod though.

Comes running in ready to hammer and finds plytho has beaten me to it.

Sabrar we can do either freeze or Vic. Vic we can do 4/5 who voted maven. Or we can do freeze as even if freeze posts or is replaced I don't see my read changing.

vote freeze.

I think I was probably blocked by Freezeblade.

Current version of the lynch plan:

1. freezeblade
2. Vicarin
3. Madge
4. LaserGuy + Sabrar
5. somitomi

Survivors: wam and plytho

All of this feels way too easy. Either scum have given up (maven/freezeblade) or they're in charge (Sabrar, wam).

I was just about to hammer, should I? I am worried about Sabrar being scum, because I recall him leading town like that in one of the newbie games.

I don't know it's relevant at this point, but my role is called "UNS Ajax Ship Avatar".

I agree with plytho it seems to easy. However somi whatever happens we will lynch freeze so I would hammer.

My suggestion is we lynch up to Vic then pause and assess if we want to keep going.

None that I'm aware of.

I'm not experienced, what would happen if one scum and one town remains? Or would we not get to that in the second scenario?

According to current plan a potential {Sabrar, wam} scum-team can be beaten if plytho guesses correctly in F3.

Vote: Vicarin

We can stop after that one if we have the time.

If there is one scum and one Town left, then scum wins. (Theoretically no lynch is forced and then scum gets the kill)

vote vicarin that's L-2

@sabrar what if plytho is scum?

a plytho huery freeze team might work with the claims. I can detail this out when I get home.

And somi, Having just checked the rules laser is right.

plytho has the most extensively explained claim imo and it is consistent with his D2 content. Anyway, I'm pretty sure game ends after LaserGuy is lynched (if not before).

space & ships & stuff

freezeblade has been executed. His role will be revealed in the morning.

Execution votals:

freezeblade - 5 (wam, LaserGuy, Sabrar, plytho, somitomi)
Vicarin - 1 (Madge)

Not Voting: freezeblade, Vicarin

Current votals:

Vicarin - 2 (Sabrar, wam)

Not Voting: LaserGuy, Madge, plytho, somitomi, Vicarin

With seven alive, 4 votes are required for execution.

Deadline has been extended 1 day (to 6.5).
New deadline is 11:00 on 2018/3/17 JST (=2018/3/17 02:00 UTC)
Note that a lynch within 12 hours of deadline (i.e. after 3/16 14:00 UTC) now ends the day automatically.

Well, I doubt I'll manage to convince anyone at this point, but I'd recommend at least waiting for the response to my mod question before killing me. Got quite a few days to work with now

Main thing I'm worried about at the moment is either Sabrar and LaserGuy pulling a fast one or wam/Plytho being culted earlier.

It's been pretty weird just how many powers have been claimed by town, especially compared to the game this seems to be based off, so I'd be careful of any shenanigans. What's been shown so far seems ridiculously town favoured.

In case anyone does want to not lynch me, or the mod question's answer comes back as incriminating,

Vote: LaserGuy

@Everyone: anything anyone wants me to do? I'll have to sleep in a couple of hours and do kind of hope I won't die by then.

I'm obviously not self hammering though.

Yep, especially since LaserGuy linked me the role distribution of the previous game. I've been trying to wrap my head around how Suzaku would have modified the setup so that mass-claim would lead town astray if we rely on that.

@Vicarin: previous game didn't have SK. You have to give town something to compensate.

@plytho: Not sure, could easily be something like Sabrar + wam. Or just Sabrar and LaserGuy if we've been really unlucky and Sabrar is a godfather. If scum has a 1 shot day kill then if Madge is town and we follow the current lynch order, then we're screwed. If it's just one scum left, then I guess Madge would make some sense, her claim is probably the worst remaining one.

This is why I'd really like that answer to my question as I would have thought lovers would have been ruled out by the ruleset, and Sabrar has clearly done his research about the previous game. Ninja'd oh it was linked by LaserGuy originally? Even better...

@Sabrar: SK also hurts scum a fair bit, so I'm pretty sure that doesn't explain all the difference.

Also Sabrar, you want to explain now why you didn't want me to protect you?

That should be easily disproven when we lynch LaserGuy and mod posts an update. You seem to be grasping at straws.

Vicarin wrote:@Sabrar: SK also hurts scum a fair bit, so I'm pretty sure that doesn't explain all the difference.
SK usually targets the most townie looking players so I would disagree with that assessment.

Vicarin wrote:Also Sabrar, you want to explain now why you didn't want me to protect you?
Sure. I thought LaserGuy was scum in which case I would not need protection. Plus even if he's Town scum might not target me due to the beer I've created. A Bodyguard whose target is known beforehand by scum is useless anyway.

Try reading the next sentence too. At this point, I'm trying to think of all the worst case scenarios to figure out which ones we can work around instead of just blazing ahead.

Yeah given the plan and the lovers claim. A sabrar laser team does not make sense as if we lynch one and the other survives we lynch the survivor.

Also Vic why keep bringing up the cult? If we have a cult that we have not found any evidence for at this point we have lost. As it will have 3 members and probably sabrar and plytho in it (that would be my targets) .
