Re: Would you kindly share your webcomic reading list?
My reading list: xkcd, OOtS, SMBC, PhD, dilbert (not really a web comic, but there is an RSS feed), surviving the world, friendship is dragons (a "screenshot and turn into an RPG" comic (darths and droids/DM of the rings) for MLPFiM), and subnormality. I used to love goblins, but the plot started getting crazy-particularly that weird dungeon with alternate universe versions of the characters-and I just got bored of it.
The difference between magic and technology is quite simple: If it works, it's technology; if it doesn't work, we call it magic and get all mushy about it-Theodore Gray

In no particular order:
xkcd
Gunnerkrigg Court
Dresden Codak
Vattu; Author's other comics (Rice Boy, Order of Tales) are great, too.
Girl Genius
Family Man
Scary Go Round / Bad Machinery

I don't check all as regularly as I'd like to, but here's my favorite webcomics list, aside from XKCD:
Scandinavia and the World
Lackadaisy
And others, which I need to catch up on big-time:
Slightly Damned
TwoKinds
Catena

Edmund Finney's Quest to Find the Meaning of Life is really funny. The ten most recent comics are pretty indicative of the humor style.

Cucumber Quest, because it's got the most beautiful art I've seen and a lot of neat jokes.

I read Gunnerkrigg Court, TwoKinds, Lackadaisy Cats, Dresden Codak, El Goonish Shive, and occasionally one called Dream*Scar. also, Girl Genius. I don't really read any of them regularly anymore since my last computer broke and I lost all my bookmarks.

let's face it... everyone needs more good(!) comics!
let me set the scene...:
during our hackspaces last meetup some fellas were wondering about which nerd reads which (web)comics.
so the "usual" suspects came up, (xkcd always comes up first somehow
)
and as we tend to sync things up (nobody wants to miss a good laugh) we started a piratepad to gather a "best of" (web)comics...
feel free to discover, contribute, or flame me for my bad grammar, probably ignoring board rules - or simply do whatever you want
tl;dr

You can add
Dr McNinja and Snow-by-Night to that list

Re: Would you kindly share your webcomic reading list?
I'm not sure anyone wants to read a 85 item long list, so here's a selection based on obscurity and interestingness:
Death and the Maiden - Who doesn't like the Reaper trying to get some reaping done?
The Bare Pit - The zany happenings in a nude resort, kind of NSFW
A miracle of science - 'Science Related Memetic Disorder' sufficiently describes this wecomic
Dresden Codak - Deserves a mention in any case, imo a must-read. Click. it. now.
Escape from Terra - Depicts life in a partially colonised solar system. Try to ignore the heavy-handed author tracks in the beginning.
Freefall - A genetically engineered engineer (ha!) is 'employed' by a cleptomanic, chaotic neutral alien, but ends up in a crisis involving a couple hundred million sentient beings and french ninjas. Bring a tent and a sleep roll, this comic is good, but rrreeaalllyyy slow.
Gone with the Blastwave - Postapocalyptic silliness
Nine Planets Without Intelligent Life - Humans? Good riddance!
Spacetrawler - Humans make for good heroes to free a slaved species, because they are all completely insane
2D Goggles - The historically accurate adventures of Lovelace and Babbage
Zen pencils - Less of a webcomic and more illustrated quotes, but plenty good in any case
Prequel - 'Making a cat cry: the adventure'. Has been called a MSPA rip-off by rabid fanboys, because it uses the same format (user input, varying media like flash games and gifs). Contentwise it has absolutely nothing to do with any MSPA adventure and should be called an Oblivion rip-off by day and a work of genius by night.

I just want to recommend this again because the story's getting really good. Elder Scrolls universe, and one of the characters is so rich and powerful because

Re: Would you kindly share your webcomic reading list?
So, about half the comics I mentioned last time ended, but since I discovered RSS readers (currently using Feedly since Google Reader was ended) and Comic Rocket I've managed to expand my reading list quite a bit, so again, I won't list them all here, just the best that haven't already been mentioned a million times:
Schlock Mercenary The Comic Space Opera is still going strong. Has had its ups and downs over the years, but always tends towards being good and entertaining.
Drive Another comic space opera, this one just came back from hiatus though. rag-tag crew are one a secret mission to give Humanity a chance in the war against the aliens whose FTL drive they stole.
Derelict Scavenger Dang Thu Mai scours the high-seas of a post-apocalyptic world for food and fuel while avoiding the monsters that lurk in the mist.
Quantum Vibe Seamus O'Murchada is a 300 year old mad scientist on a journey through the solar system with his assistant, the first woman to fly below the Sun's corona.
Strong Female Protagonist As a teenager, Mega Girl was the strongest superhero, taking on villains like Menace and Cleaver. But super-strength and invincibility are no match for social injustice, so she took off the mask and cape to make the world a better place as Allison, middle-class college student and volunteer firefighter.
Lovesyck (NSFW) "A vaguely pornographic deep space nightclub medical opera", the prequel to Lovelyss "a sexy outer-space nightclub pulp adventure in three parties"

Some updates:
Dumbing of Age - college webcomic, highly accessible, updates every day.
Stand Still, Stay Silent - Scandinavia-centric, post-apocalyptic. Astounding art and nearly daily updates. Also check out the artist's tiny two-year project of 556 pages, A Redtail's dream.

Wondermark
xkcd
Schlock Mercenary
Scenes From A Multiverse
Dick Tracy
PHD Comics
diesel sweeties
The Non-Adventures of Wonderella
Hefty Grogol - NSFW
The Bell Blues

== Webcomics that update monthly or less frequently: ==

Finally, not a comic at all, but an episodic story about mage Laura Ferno in a world where magic is now a "bona fide field of engineering" and her quest to find who her mage mother was.
It's hard to classify, rather dense but the words paint an epic picture, can be heavy going:
