Lost Boys

Postby Clumpy » Thu Jul 19, 2007 5:12 am UTC

Orson Scott Card's "Lost Boys" has to be one of the most moving books I have ever read. Reading the Ender quadrology (or whatever a series of four books is called) in middle school did much to expand my mind, but Lost Boys will always hold a place in my heart as a novel populated by characters that feel real.

Anybody who hasn't yet had the opportunity to appreciate Card's versatility (works on sci-fi AND family drama!) should pick this one up.

I just read it the other day, actually. And yes, it's great. If somewhat disturbing.
Better, I'd have to say, than Xenocide, Children of the Mind, etc.
