The Double Tour Game

Postby jpopes43 » Wed Jun 09, 2010 9:01 pm UTC

This is a game my friend introduced me to, where you choose two bands that would tour together, but because of the names, not the music. For instance, Tool and M. C. Hammer, or Jefferson Airplane and the B-52s. Queen and Prince for a more mainstream example.

I know this actually happened, but Nine Inch Nails and Jane's Addiction -- The NINJA tour.

Another acronymonic (?) tour could be Blackadder & Last Love Standing (BALLS)

As for punny ones --

Deep Purple and Frijid Pink
Lady GaGa and Sir Lord Baltimore
Queen and King Crimson
Aerosmith and Cruved Air

I think the latter group is awesome.

Did anyone see get him to the greek?

at the beginning the guys like "Hey, wanna go to a Pixies and Mars Volta Concert?"

I bet I was the only one in the audience who thought "What the hell? Thats the weirdest set up ever."

no, sir, you were not. Me and my sister were the only two that laughed at that part. I don't think it was meant to be a joke (unless it WAS meant to be a joke, directed at us who realize how ridiculous that is), and therefore was kinda incredibly stupid.
uhhhh fuck.
