Shoot Romans with rockets: Darkest of days

Postby Awia » Tue Aug 11, 2009 7:26 pm UTC

Or, "what would happen if you were a time traveller who decided to take a machine gun back to the battle of little big horn."
RPS article

This game looks freaking awesome, and not just because you get to shoot Nazis with a rapid fire rocket launcher.
I've not yet been able to play the demo, but I have it on good authority that it's pretty fun, any one want to give an opinion on this most over the top of games.

Good authority, eh? :P

The demo was fun, despite having modern weapons you're not invincible. A line of riflemen firing at you with their single shot a minute guns are still pretty deadly. Not much plot involved by the sound of things, go back in time and stop important people getting killed by killing their would-be killers. But I'm pretty sure the developers aren't marketing their game to people who like involving storyliens

Also, your fellow men and opponents don't seem overly interested in your anachronistic weaponry, which is strange.

It looked somewhat interesting. I'll try out the demo eventually.

All this demo has done is make me want more episodes of Time Squad.
