Do you mean just regular climbing? you look very high up for bouldering,
but maybe I'm mistaken...
my bouldering usually consists of like boulders or really big rocks that are pretty short climbs.

By the way, your name is quite incredible. Have you ever done battle with Eastman, who came out of the East?

There's a ledge not far beneath me that you can't quite see in the picture. I'm doing a traversal that's a few feet away from the top of a much higher climb.

And yeah, you got the reference right ;-). I actually had a friend who used to post as Eastman (playing off my name, which came first) but he doesn't post under that name anymore.

Not exactly my face, but my fiance decided to take a picture of me making an ass out of myself on a rock wall, which was stuck in the middle of the sport store we were in to get camping gear. I made it to the third floor of the store before the climb got too difficult for me.

That wall cost me three dollars to go up. It was in a Dick's sporting good store. Adults are five dollars, but if you have the rewards card you get a discount.

This was the first time I've ever been in one of their stores, and it was huge. I don't know if all branches have rock walls. :(

You know the rock gym is only $15 for gear and 4 hours most of the time or $24 for all day with gear. Whereas that's probably $5 for 15 minutes.

The one I was talking about is the RI Rock Gym in Lincoln, RI. Ladies Night and College Nights are all $15 all-included 8PM to Midnight. I believe College nights are Friday and Sunday and Ladies Night is Saturday. There's also a Military and Service Industry Night.

There exists a Boston Rock Gym with reasonable rates - $7 gear rental, $15 general day pass, $12 student pass. And it looks like they have $1 day pass Ladies Night on Tuesdays, which would be $8 total.

Whoa, all the rock climbing looks pretty cool and fun.

I'm about to head to University where they have a climbing wall in the Rec. center and the only cost is shoe rental. If I really like it I think I'll buy myself some shoes and climb as much as possible. I went in Colorado once on a real face and I enjoyed it a lot even though it was pretty hard.

I'm not sure which ZeroSum was referring to, but there's also MetroRock in Everett which looks like it is $16 all day, and $7 for gear. It is practically right across the street from where I live and I have been meaning to give it a try but so far I haven't been able to make plans with anyone to go (and it's not the kind of thing I think I can do on my own on a whim).
