I think the best part about this picture is that, on my cornea, you can see the reflection of my arms holding my camera in front of my monitor which is open to the xkcd forums (you'll just have to trust me on that last bit).

Turn off the flash, use more ambient light, and hold the camera very steady -- brace it against something (like a computer monitor, in my case) or use a tripod.

pictures taken from larger ones of me, that's why they're small.
I like pictures of eyes, so I felt I should contribute.
Both these are atypical: I wear glasses but not makeup usually.

Every girlfriend I've ever had has, at some point, stared at these and said "Those are so cool!" They're typically blue-green with brown strips and orange dots. Orange dots didn't come out so well... does this look ok?

Aw, shucks. Thanks. I find my eyes kinda boring -- I guess the grass is greener (er...more hazel?) on the other side of the fence.

I really like seeing all the multi-colored eyes like yours and Mighty Jalapeno's, they're just so damned interesting. TGR's reminds me of a planetary nebula. And Sungura's chameleon eyes, besides being awesome in any ONE color, she(?) gets awesome in multiple colors. Also, Sungura, you have excellent choice in eyewear!

Also I find it amusing that a lot of the time I can't tell if they're male or female.

Though, they do change colour from day to day. If they're much different/more interesting I will take another photo.

The very definition of hazel eyes :)

And very nice too I might add.

Actually, I like all the eyes so far (well, I like eyes in general), but especially those with yellow in them.

girl I used to fancy when I was 13/14 had greeny-blue (sort of pastel turquoise) eyes with yellow in the middle. Veerry nice.

Eye made a new one with natural light. See what I did there? See it? See what eye did? The orange dots are apparently brown now, and the wierd starburst is orange again, and the blue has faded from when I was younger. Do eyes do this normally?

Yes they do, eye's aren't pure color they have some facets that are colorless that will reflect your surroundings more than the rest of your iris.
