This happens a lot in the Mushroom Kingdom, too.

Sometimes I forget to come up with title text

I'm with Canada (I'm With Her (1756), Canada (180), Subliminal (960), Still No Sleep (776)) [transcript]

It needed a joke or something, so I added a bunch of references to other comics and one thing that's not a reference.

So I have a friend whose birthday is January 1st. I quickly threw this together and printed it out as a gift for her.

One day this'll all be over and I'll have no idea how to talk to anyone.

That was worse only in the sense of image quality, and then only if you'd insist on missing the point.

My take on 1814:

Image

OTT-style redundant

Edit: Linkfix.

"Why is the photo covered in these weird rainbow patterns?"
"My cousin and her baby girl are staying with us. EVERYTHING is covered in weird rainbow patterns."

Because I can never make up my mind how to make an xkcd comic slightly worse (again 1814):

Edit: I don't want to wait any longer, the place to do that is elsewhere. So I'll edit in my next XKCDSW based on 1822:

And a mashup posted by someone else in another thread (no guesses which one):
