Maybe.

Well... seeing as it's unlikely I'll ever to to 1000 now... I might as well post the post I was going to post at post 1000.

O.o

It was a poem. Thingy. Of demonic-ness. To be read aloud in a monotonous, yet creepy voice.

What is man, but flesh and bone?
Must he have sins, for which to atone?
Man’s angel stands, proud and tall,
But even he is soon to fall.
Is there a way out?
Or must we succumb,
Destined to die before the sun?

There is one, by nature cursed,
To roam eternal, beneath the earth,
His voice infernal, his mind twisted,
Since before time he has existed,
He corrupts and destroys,
Making plots and ploys.

He chose a messenger,
One young, and able,
To do his bidding,
In God’s stable.

And now the messenger, fully awoken,
Has the message, his mind now broken,
To spread this message, he must endeavour,
For his name, is sleepygamer.

Also, for extra funny, read like this.

And here's a shorter version with a different last line that popped into my head when I was stuck while writing it.

Spoiler:
What is man, but flesh and bone?
Must he have sins, for which to atone?
Man’s angel stands, proud and tall,
But even he is soon to fall.
Is there a way out?
Or must we succumb,
Destined to die before the sun?
There is one, by nature cursed,
To roam eternal, beneath the earth,
His voice infernal, his soul black,
Because the fucker runs a Mac.

Hell yes! Though I was leaning more towards eating clones of people. Maybe I could trick somebody into walking in on me grillin' up some them. I have no idea how to structure that sentence.

Ok, maybe not... but if the planet were to run out of shrimp and lobster by 2020 like all the fear mongers would have us believe, I would be eating the hell out of some cloned shrimp. In fact, if they start making it on the cheap, too, I might eat nothing but cloned shrimp. With a side of small people.

Ironically, non-cloned shrimp is much easier and cheaper to make than cloned shrimp, and will remain so far into the future.

Agreed, I'm not exactly on board with the whole "we're always doomed" angle. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure we're doomed... just not in the manner anyone has guessed thus far and certainly not in the same timeframe (next Tuesday). I'm confident that shrimp as a species will not be in danger during my lifetime. That said, if it did come to that for some reason, I would have no issues with eating clones.

Actually, I'd like to do so whether there was valid reason to or not. I've eaten all kinds of abnormal (for this area) animals... zebra, monkey, hippo, lion, antelope, kangaroo, llama, turtle, stingray, very fresh shark... might as well top it off with Jim's Morally Acceptable People Steaks!*
