It works once you realize that the "I" is a word by itself. That's a pretty good assessment of the situation, your anagram. I congratulate you.

Every single year in school, people (not just teachers; parents and friends as well) have told me "You shouldn't be so proud of your ability to succeed in school without studying/caring about homework because next year it's going to be harder."
"Middle school has a much higher workload."
"That's going to be impossible in high school."
"You're gonna be screwed in a couple years because you have no study skills."
People just don't understand that I've caught on to this trend. I don't understand this "studying" crap. I don't need to spend hours mindlessly jamming crap I don't care about into my head; I just listen to the teachers during class. I still don't understand why it's that foreign a concept to actually try to learn things in school.

I see what you mean.

edit: My German language classmates sucked. They talked while the teacher went on with some grammatical stuff. Then they would stop her and ask for help. When she helped them they didn't listen and continued to talk. We were on the fucking past tense for at least a month. It's a good thing the school year ended yesterday. I was going on the verge of fucking snapping. Not the shoot-em-up type of snapping, though.

Harder because they're cute or because they're strangers?

It has gotten to the point that I find it somewhat difficult to pass someone without smiling, unless I'm in an awful, violent, stabby mood. This is rather useful- normally my appearance is met with a disapproving scowl, and smiling can brighten up someone's day.

Why on earth does this 500ml bottle of carbonated caffeinated brown/black-ish soft drink with vegetable extracts what I drank at lunch today, have nutritional information on the side, which gives its constituents as a % of total daily recommended allowance, based off a 250ml serving, i.e. half a bottle? I'm sorry, beverage company, but the majority of consumers will buy a 500ml bottle for themselves, drink it in esssentially one break/lunchtime/afternoon/day, and not spread it over 2 days or 2 consumers! I can understand a 2l bottle going off 250ml servings, but a 500ml one is small enough to be personal and not shared between many.

Possibly borders on mini-rant rather than fleeting/random thought, but I'm not so angry about it, just curiously perplexed.

Reminds me of a comedian, Brian Regan, talking about serving sizes. How there must be some asshole just going "Hey, Jim, look at what I put for the serving size. Yeah, I know!" And, "Who eats just two fig newtons? I eat them by the sleeve." And, "Know what the serving size of a tub of ice cream is? When the spoon hits the bottom."

A lot of sodas here have nutrition info for half a bottle ("one serving size") and then the whole bottle. I think it's due to simply serving sizes being smaller than the portions they're giving out these days, and perhaps a marketing ploy? If you only glance at the nutriton facts and see 90 calories in a serving and not that there's two servings in the bottle, you'll be like, "oh, this isn't so bad for me" and buy more.

...at least, that's my hypothesis.
you may remember me from 2008 or 2009. I left for a while. I'm now sporadically back. I tumble here.
