You cannot finish. You have a thing and you cannot finish it. It sits there, accusing. There are *so many things* you have not finished. You will never get to them all. They exist, unfinished, and you wonder sometimes what will happen to them when you die. Will there be someone to not-finish them after you? Will there be an after-you? Is there ever?

The deviation by the mast and staircase from the otherwise broadly orthogonal placement of emphasized lines creates a region of movement in an otherwise static composition and prevents the piece from appearing too rigid and repetitive.

Code: Select all

="Today is "&CHOOSE(WEEKDAY(NOW()),"","Mon","Tues","Wednes","Thurs","Fri","Satur","Sun")&"day, "&CHOOSE(MONTH(NOW()),"January ","February ","March ","April ","May ","June ","July ","August ","September ","October ","November ","December ")&DAY(NOW())&IF(AND(RIGHT((DAY(NOW())+9),1)+0<3,LEFT(TEXT(DAY(NOW()),"00"),1)+0<>1),CHOOSE(RIGHT(DAY(NOW()),1),"st","nd","rd"),"th")&", Julian date "&(TODAY()-DATE(YEAR(NOW())-1,12,31))
This is silliness you can put in a single cell in Excel or LibreOffice Calc and it simply gives you the date in a different format.
