I'll join in this round as well if there's no objections.

Also what happens if someone knows the word and gives the correct definition?

That's just like guessing the correct definition.

This is why players are expected to send a rare word, because if everyone knows the correct definition, everyone will "guess" correctly, and so the player handing out the word everyone knows will get 0 points.

AAAAAAAA
I just realised tallying these that I forgot to wait for 12obin, my apologies! So many new players my poor head couldn't keep up!

Elance

1. To throw something in the manner of a lance (correct)
2. Graceful, aristocratic quality (yablo)
3. A computer simulation of a popular sword sport (patzer)
4. A state of overtly displayed excitement (mike-l)
5. To imitate in a lighthearted manner (faubiguy)
6. An aggressive of warlike behaved person with no affiliation (vytron)
7. A belt that is used to keep a corset right around the waist (lawrencelot)

Vytron guessed 4 (mike-l's)
faubiguy guessed 2 (yablo's)
patzer guessed 5 (faubiguy's)
mike-l guessed 5 (faubiguy's)
lawrencelot guessed 5 (faubiguy's)
yablo guessed 7 (lawrencelot's)

Vytron 24 (+2)
Lawrencelot 16 (+3)
patzer 27 (+2)
faubiguy 35 (+5)
yablo 34 (+3)
envelope generator 26
12obin: 7 (+3)
mike-l: 3 (+3)

12obin gets to exact revenge on me immediately as the following round is his.
