Album Cover'd! Necromancy & No Redundancy Version

Postby Vytron » Wed Dec 31, 2014 12:31 am UTC

Successor of Aleril's Album Cover'd! Game.

This one allows mechanics so that you don't end up remaking the same album someone else made, and gives points for double posting if the thread has been inactive.

1 - Go to wikipedia. Hit "random".
The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to Random quotations:
The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album. If you or someone else already used those words for an album, you may, if you want, use the previous words from that quote, or if those have been used too, jump to a previous quote and use its last words. You may not change what you got for another reason.

3 - Go to flickr and click on "explore the last seven days"
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover. If you or someone else already used that picture, or if the picture is NSFW, you may click refresh to get another. You may not refresh for another reason.

4 - Use photoshop or similar to mix it all up. You may make any changes to the picture as you see fit. Host it and bring it here. Include the name of the artist and album in your post. You may post attributions and give credit about from where things came from if you wish.

5 - You may give a description of the music contained on the album if you wish.

6 - All posts on the thread must contain at least one album, if you have to post in the thread for another reason, edit an album into your post.

7 - If this thread is on the second page or later of Forum Games, you may bump it with an album. This is necromancy and gives you 1 point.

And there we go! Have fun!
