Re: The Furry Thread!
Just popping in here as a former moderator saying, with whatever authority I have left, this is a safespace. Questions are cool, but insults are not welcome. I'm not a furry myself, but the culture does intrigue me, I'll admit. If you're okay with it, would you mind giving an overview of what furry ...

Re: Doctor Whom
Aye, it was made very clear in the last episode that while he is an incarnation, he's not considered a 'Doctor' because of whatever he did that was so horrendous. I'm okay with Capaldi, very good actor. To be honest, I don't want a female Doctor until Moffat's gone from the show, I can't imagine him...

Hmm, I feel like I haven't communicated properly here. My response was aimed at the idea that this couldn't be hailed as a good film 'critically'. I gave the 'feminist critique' as a counterpoint to my argument, that it could be seen to have failings there and even then I qualified that Mako's chara...

I don't get what you mean by from a purely critical perspective, because as a film major I'm holding this up as pretty much the blockbuster done perfectly. The cinematography was beautiful. The action scenes conveyed everything clearly and excitingly. The mise-en-scene worked for me, managing to bot...

If only they also offered Steam keys. It's so tempting to get Fez for $5 now, but why not wait for the Steam sale? I see they seem to be the only ones with Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen 2 at the moment. That never appeared on Steam. My big question about the LoK games on GOG compared to Steam is wheth...

Re: Too many common words excluded from searches
I would imagine that's because that's how the search for these forums is programmed, rather than anyone on this board creating such a list.
As such your frustration is probably better aired over at the phpBB forums, as they'd be the ones who could change that.

I just finished reading an academic paper entitled 'Representations of Gender, Sexual, and Romantic Minorities in Popular Webcomics' by Tenzin Beck (Former poster here, Zeroignite). I ran past it, ended up dying just due to not paying attention and wasting Estus Flasks. Didn't have enough time for another run so just spent fifteen minutes dodging every singel one of his attacks and whittling him down until he was dead. Felt like a boss.

I'd like it if they introduced a public MMR system for pre-made teams. So if you're just arsing around in pubs you don't get that problem, but when playing with my full team we can get a sense of how we're progressing.

Amy Hempel is, quite literally, the greatest author of short stories I have ever read. She crafts beautiful, meaningful prose that packs more emotional weight than many novels I've read. If you want something similar to her, but more fantastical then go for Kelly Link/
