I think that's something that many Not American observers have been underestimating - a lot of Americans really, really hate Hillary. Why? Well, it's a combinati...

Plus Scrabble games rarely come down to who knows the biggest words with the most high-value tiles in them. At least in my experience, which admittedly doesn't include the pro scene. Yeah, I mean - had Trump said something along the lines of "I reserve the right to request recounts if there's another situation like there was in Florida in 2000, but beyond that - of course", that would have been completely fine. And to be clear, I say that as a Clinton-supporting Democr...

Here, this was posted back in May. It didn't exactly take the Pythia to write it, but in my opinion, it's worth the reminder of *just* how predictable this has been: http://www.vox.com/2016/5/5/11589262/2016-general-election-is-going-to-suck It has, in recent weeks, fallen apart of course. Trump could settle this if he released his returns. He's chosen not to. Absent hard facts he invites people to create narratives that suit them. People will see what they want to see. De gustibus, I suppose, but I would consider personal attacks against the candidates spouses to be beyond the pale. For example, the anti-Melania ad that Cruz's supporters ran was completely beyond the pale. But criticisms based on substance - like plagiarism accusations - seem entirely fair to me.
