Re: In other news... (humorous news items)

Last year A few years ago there was that article on someone being shot dead for asking a pain au chocolat in a city where they call that a chocolatine. http://www.legorafi.fr/2013/03/20/toulouse-il-se-fait-abattre-de-46-balles-dans-le-corps-pour-avoir-demande-un-pain-au-chocolat/ However le Gorafi ...

When I played Oblivion I would never sleep; staying lvl ~3 was much better than fighting strong mobs. However that was quite a failure at game designing.

Re: The worst film you've seen

In retrospect, I shouldn't have suggested it was dumb (pardon). I just wasn't really interested and I couldn't stand the humor. Every joke felt like I had heard it before.

However it seemed very good, just not my thing.

Re: The worst film you've seen

I haven't watched The Last Airbender; it came to my knowledge when I was an adult and it was apparently too dumb for my demographics (I did see a few episodes before deciding that). Making the fire people brown people is certainly a bad move (I think they are the villains in this story). However, wo...

I must say indeed that when I played Daggerfall I would save before accepting any quest. I still do that when playing any rpg. There was that quest in which someone gave you an item; and if you dropped that item because your cat was drunk or something, that quest became impossible and super annoying...

Re: Great Steam Deals (And other Online Distribution Systems)

A game named Oxenfree is currently free on gog.com; I have no opinion on how good that might be. They also sell Redguard for super cheap; and if you buy Redguard you also get Arena and Daggerfall which are the first two opuses from the The Elder Scrolls franchise. I haven't played Redguard or Arena,...

Would you guys recommend My Cousin Rachel (the 2017 movie)? I think I am going to the theater tomorrow, and I am not decided yet on what I will watch. This one has apparently a very limited distribution in my country.

Edit: I eventually went and liked it.

Yesterday on reddit I said that In this Corner of the World is quite underrated. This is quite obvious as this movie is from 2016, was more successful in Japan than Your Name (at least in 2016) and is not much heard of. Someone told me two things: 1) that this movie had been available in English lat...
