Essure won't particularly work for you anyway. I was curious so I checked, but it has no influence - if only negatively - on your blood flow.

Glad you found a doc who supports you. Good luck with the funding.

Reading about lovetrouble from people in their 20s (I've been reading the Savage Love archives ) thinking "awwww" and "you'll still learn". I'm also a lot more mellow with my opinions. I was so very opinionated between 18 and 24, and I felt sooo mature for my age, which I probabl...

try checking airbnb - I have found student accommodation through there as well (the girl who owned the room was out of town for a month). Couchsurfing.org may be useful too, though I have heard it has become a little sleazy lately, so make sure you're safe.

Thing is, it all depends on the "other options" factor, especially when you talk about food places. If I go to a sandwich shop and they screw up, whilst there are 3 other similar shops around, I would probably pick another next time to see if that gives me a better experience. If there is ...

at the risk of sounding very motherly, Cathy: sugar gives a short-term energy boost but wears you out in the long run.
Better to eat slow-release energisers like bread, pasta, rice, and those don't cost the world. If you want to save money on food, this would be a good start.
