Re: Joss Whedon doing writer things again.

My favourite aspect of the whole movie is that it clearly emulated the movie making people and then had the monsters turned on themselves. The two fellas in charge were clearly supposed to be Joss and Drew (the writers) and it ended with a character even named 'The Director' I believ...

Re: The Stone Roses. Fiiiinally...

I never thought Squire was going to do this.

I've quite liked most of Ian Browns solo stuff. I'm looking forward to it, I fucking love the Stone Roses and I've enjoyed lots of my old bands getting back together. I can't wait to see what happens.

Re: Assassin's Creed: Revelations

Well I finished it, and allthough the end with the new little location was a bit better, there wasn't a single revelation in the whole game. Nothing happened. This story has not moved forward at all. And I don't know what happened to Lucy either.

This is all turning a bit 'Lost'.

Re: Assassin's Creed: Revelations

I think I'm in about as far as the op and feeling pretty much the same. It's very underwhelming. It's one of my favourite series and being called 'Revelations' promised so much more. I'm just running errands and buying shops. The Altair bits are cool, but there isn't much to them. The Desmond fragme...

Re: Top 100 Sci-Fi/Fantasy Books flowchart

I only found about five that I have read but I'm half way through Hitch-hikers and came here looking for something to follow it, so an excellent first thread! I'm really not into fantasy though so I'll be very finely toeing the line half way. That all said, any recommendation on where to start are a...

Quite a good comic, and quite an interesting thread. I'm looking at going to University next year to do Physics/Astrophysics. I recently started dating a girl who started to tell me about the end of the world. I had to just stop her and say "You do realize what a physicist is right? If I start...

Re: Nintendo 3DS - Soon to be Cheaper, Still Headache Induci

My 3DS is basically a portable Zelda machine at this point. Once the Ambassador games hit, I'll have Legend of Zelda, Adventure of Link, Links Awakening, Minish Cap, and 4 Swords on the machine, plus carts for Ocarina of Time 3D, Spirit Tracks, and Phantom Hourglass. Also, Super Mario 3D Land is pr...

Physics, Math & Astronomy for a newbie.

A little bit overkill, since 90% of those 'incidents' are the admins in question testing out the sudo functionality, or forgetting to add their user accounts to /etc/sudoers. At least, that's the only thing that I've ever seen this message for, though I never use multi-user machines. Overkill? You ...

Why don't we ever use our spies? Sneak in, kill leader and friends, sneak out. Maybe defuse their bombs whilst you're there for a bit of extra time.
