Re: What were your dreams last night?

Lately I have been obsessed with Arrow and the other DC shows on CW. Last night, I finally had the chance to be a part of that universe..well, at least in my subconscious. I dreamt that I was a part of Team Arrow and I had really strong powers. We had to fight alongside some members of Team Flash an...

Re: Today I Learned

Today I learned that being flat-chested has its benefits. I mean, I've heard or read before that there are certain benefits but of course I didn't really pay much attention to it. But today, as I was shopping for new workout outfits to fill my wardrobe , I saw a busty woman struggling with her optio...

Re: What is in your pockets / purse? Every Day Carry discussion

Here's a list of what can be found inside my mobile home a.k.a my bag: - A big ass wallet with cash, cards, ids, receipts, and other pieces of paper that seem to pile up by the minute - Cellphone - Lipstick and eyevbrow liner (I need help in that department) - Phone charger / USB Cable - Pen and my ...

Huh...I guess the taste could be similar, but the way they cook it is still different right? Double frying and all that.

Re: The Liquor Thread

An Australian rye? Interesting. Is it in the same style as North American rye whiskey (aged in charred virgin oak), or is it a different beast? You know, I had to research the answer to this. haha! Sorry, I forgot most of what was "shown" to us in the tour. Here's the process though. MASH...

Re: The Liquor Thread

There's this distillery/bar in Sydney that's the first of its kind in the city in over 150 years. They do tours of the place and they show you how they make their signature gin , vodka, rye, and their other tailored spirits. The place is really good with a rusty feel to it, and drinks they make are ...

Re: [SAFESPACE] Woman Thread - All Things Women. Period.

Regarding the use of various oils for moisturising and hair and skin and stuff, can I just take this opportunity to recommend using oil to clean your face? I decided to try this, either out of desperation or just plain curiosity. I started yesterday morning, first with not enough castor oil and the...

Hi Bekha! I totally love yoga. I don't get to do it as much as I would want to lately, but if I do have the chance, I do Vinyasa and Bikram. :)

Re: Speed-reading?

Recently, I've been wanting to read more in shorter amounts of time. I tried speed-reading last summer, and I did improve my speed a bit, but I found that I was focusing more on finishing the books I was reading as opposed to actually absorbing and enjoying them. Does anyone have a suggestion for h...

I find that Nigella Lawson's show is a good inspiration for food pairing ideas or complete meals. She balances everything out really well in one meal.

They did this on Buzzfeed if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, I like dipping chips in vanilla ice cream. :) I was going to suggest McDonalds Fries dipped in their Vanilla milkshake.. so maybe they should make potato, salt, and vanilla ice-cream. Good one! We can only imagine the kind of feedback that woul...

Glen's is good. But more often than not I use Archie Rose https://archierose.com.au/shop/product/vodka (this is famous here in Australia) or Smirnoff.

I was extremely perplexed by this until I noticed that you're from Sydney. I guess you pronounce it /'iɡ.luː/?

As much as I would love to come up with a smart answer for this, I can't. My friend just really likes messing with people. Me included. Sorry, mate. :D :)

Re: Odd Pronunciations

Here's something a friend of mine insist on using:

E for Igloo
F for Effort
G for Jiggle
L for Elephant
Q for Cucumber

The E for Igloo is by far my favorite.

I hate the word "literally". People use it the wrong way too much that now I just hate hearing it! I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in this.
