There is no universal symbolism. Read Schopenhauer's World as Will and Representation Volume I, his positions on symbolism are better.

Either the presumed magick that a person experiences is real or it isn't. Right by why/how would the person running the simulation know that? You've established that the possibility is binary (which I don't think is even true, but whatever). You haven't presented any argument at all for how a perso...

No. You are misremembering (and misspelling) the mandela effect. It is an observation that when people misremember things, they often do so in similar ways. It says something (IMO) about the basic structure of memory. It says nothing about the basic structure of reality. You're misreading me. It sa...

I have a hard time knowing how reported magical experiences would be simulated. Part of me hopes they're just taken literally, but it would have to be very context sensitive. It should have been clear from context that it was intuition. Without intuition, discussion is impossible. Don't be a dork. But it was an argument against having to re-create a bunch of other consciousnesses to interact with your copied consciousness to ensure they couldn't realize they were in a s...

Clearly the original has an organic body, and the clone does not. The one with the organic body is the original. Right. Now how do you discern this, proving at the same time that your perception is sound. Even if I wanted a slave, I don't necessarily want any particular consciousness embedded in it...

This is basically like selling a child into slavery? You create a new person (or something techno-magical that rather resembles a new person), then you sell it off. Internally, you the individual can't determine which conscious entity you are. It may be trivial for others, somewhere, to determine that. I don't think that's true. I think it's too easy to forge conscious experience once you have complete control over the consciousness of other people.
