Re: Pandemic Legacy

We're in the middle of June now. We lost twice in January due to various bad luck (I believe one was simply running out of time). We lost both times in May. One of those losses was just a bad shuffle (all of the Red player cards were at the bottom of the deck, so we were unable to coordinate getting...

Re: Hearthstone

It sucks if they remove the ability to ever buy the old packs or complete the old adventure paths. I still haven't done the League of Explorers or Blackrock Mountain. I hope that they will at least let you craft those cards with dust once the adventure path is gone. The actual Standard Mode I think ...

At least for YouTube, I'm sure there are various legal reasons why there isn't an easy way to download videos. If copyrighted material is posted, YouTube has the ability to take the video down. If there was a download link, they would probably be legally required to also track down anyone who downlo...

You can sign up as a beta participant by logging into the battle.net web site. You need to check a box that you are interested in being a beta tester (along with the options for Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo betas).

Not sure if there is any kind of announcement on when the actual beta will begin.

Re: Hearthstone

I think the +1 mana cost on Leeroy is justified. It will still get used in decks.

The Starving Buzzard nerf seems huge. By the time you have 5 mana, it should be easy for any deck to remove a 2-health creature from the board.

I've only done Noth so far. I think he might be the hardest one of this wing. Druid was a major fail (Black Knight...). Mage worked great. It took me 2-3 attempts, but the win was fairly easy. Re: League of Legends

In general, I found the AP champs to be boring. It took forever to knock down turrets and actually end the game, even if the teamfights were sometimes epic. Tanky champions (Alistar, Shyvana, Singed, etc) were also pretty boring. Ranged AD was the most challenging for me, but either way the game was...

Arena is such a crapshoot. I went 6-0 with a pretty terrible deck, and then lost 3 in a row to end the streak. The luck of the draft is so annoying. Re: Hearthstone

My only real complaint about Unleash the Hounds is the way it combos with the Buzzard. Even at 3 mana for Unleash, it's now a 5-mana combo for: Summon X Minions with charge, and draw X Cards, where X is the number of minions the opponent has on the field. The combo will still be the same, you just h...

You can usually approximate it by simply equipping the 2 different item sets and looking at the overall DPS number in the character screen ("raw dps"). This doesn't take into account bonuses like "+15% Fire Damage" or "Skill-X deals 20% more damage", but it's pretty eas...

The cache from bounties also drops key parts. But at 70 you'll find a ton of public games where people are just running split normal bounties. Magic Find is no longer a thing that you can find on gear. Maybe a few of the sets or legendaries have it. AFAIK the only way to get it now is by putting a Topaz into a Helmet. I guess it's worth repeating. There is no passing law in Maryland. It is perfectly legal to drive in the left hand lane of any roadway, as long as you are not going less than 10 below the speed limit (and you aren't an 18-wheeler truck, etc). I understand that the left lane should be for passing onl...
