Re: Games you can't remember the title of.

Here's one that someone on another forum asked. It was an old website with flash or java games on it: I wanna say I visited it pretty often in the late 90s, maybe early 2000s. There was a part of the site where you played games, but it wasn't like typical sites where you just click a link and you we...

Re: Kerbal Space Program

The IVA radar altimeter is quite useful if you're doing a landing in the dark, especially if you don't have lights on your lander It's also pretty cool to fly planes and drive rovers in IVA, though the stock cockpits don't provide very good views, if any at all. The cone-shaped plane cockpit is dece...

Re: Games you can't remember the title of.

No, Impossible Mission doesn't look familiar for #1. I believe the game had a mostly black background. I think the character was fairly large on the screen, but I could be wrong #4 turns out to be Dreadnoughts . Deva, I'm not sure your screenshot is from the same game, but I found this while searchi...

Re: Games you can't remember the title of.

1. 2D Platformer. Game was divided into rooms. Possibly Metroid-style exploration. You were some kind of robot person. I don't think you could attack, and I don't think there were any enemies anyway, possibly just hazards. I remember picking up oil lamps for some reason. I don't remember what the o...

Re: Games you can't remember the title of.

All right, I've got some challenging ones. These are all Commodore 64 games that I played as a kid. Information is likely to be extremely vague and/or inaccurate. 1. 2D Platformer. Game was divided into rooms. Possibly Metroid-style exploration. You were some kind of robot person. I don't think you ...

Re: What-if 0077: "Growth Rate"

It would be interesting to do the same extrapolations with respect to constant growth in girth or volume instead of length

Re: What-if 0067: "Expanding Earth"

After about 541858 years, the Earth would grow to a radius of 1.71x10 11 m, or 1.143 AU. Given an average density of 5515 kg/m 3 , that would give it a mass of 1.155x10 38 kg, or 58 million solar masses. At this point it would be within its own Schwarzchild radius as a supermassive black hole. Also...

Re: What-if 0067: "Expanding Earth"

Black hole? When would the Earth eventually become a black hole? It's hard to answer that, because the premise of the question is that the radius is steadily expanding while the density stays the same—whereas a black hole, the density increases. So let's say it is expanding while the average densit...
