Re: Isn't everything a black hole?

No, not everything has an event horizon. A normal particle does not have an event horizon, you can get as close as you want to it without gravity being so much light can't escape. A micro black hole must be very, very, very tiny. Much smaller than what it came from. Only then can stuff get so close ...

Re: Suspend to Ram

I get the feeling that 4TB and an HTPC aren't going to go well together. You're requirements are kind of asking for a lot of noise, which is bad for an HTPC. I know I know, I just can't afford to buy two separate machines. My current one (well it's just a headless server, but it resides under the T...

I don't remember the name, but it was somewhere around Disney World area. I had a 28oz lobster that cost me $25. It was amazing, just this huge pile of buttery meat. It took me 2 days to eat it, and it was just as good after being refrigerated and eaten cold in the morning.

I'll have to try that, I've been using a non-serrated knife. I use just a regular jar of yeast, and I add everything as my bread machine says. Once the bread machine is done, I separate it into two rounds, place them in greased bowls covered in saran wrap, let them rise for something like 20 minutes...

French Bread! I recently got a bread maker and have been trying to use it to make french/artisan style breads. So far I've attempted about 10 loaves but only 2 have come out. Instant oats with chopped up dried fruits and a dash of cinnamon. Quick, and you can chop/mix a large batch than just cook daily amounts. Just boil it for a few minutes and its done.

Anyway, it sounds like inline heating would take too much power, and that the correct solution would be some sort of reservoir of hot water closer to the apartment.

Dig up the pipes and insulate them with aerogel. Or put larger pipes around them and then pump out all the air. Or put the hot water pipes inside the steam pipes.
