Those particular bonds? I'm not sure that's even possible. You would need to know every(or at least a lot) of the specific bonds that China owns right now. Given that the market is liquid, that's an extremely difficult task. It'd be akin to declaring every dollar held by a Texan to be worthless. Ho...

Re: Trump presidency

So, if China pulls all treasury stock, and the us decides not to pay, will all countries decide never to invest with the us again? Or just while Trump is in office? Or until we pay it back? What would the economic effects of that be? If China sells US bonds, then someone will buy them. It should be...

(Note I think its safe to assume she wins the general at this point - do republicans even try to run in this district?) Quote's broken. The important difference here is that people know the risks and can choose to avoid them with a pool or football. Someone with a gun isn't exactly something you can know the risks in advance or avoid. It's other people deeming the risks to you as acceptable in exchange for a hobby (...

Someone's hobby is not worth the price paid in lives. That's a very dangerous road to go down. Freedom vs security. Security seems to win every time. Re: Firearms Regulations

I view gun control like seat belts and speed limits. Not everyone follows them, but they do save lives and it is worth the cost for the lives saved. Honestly, in the modern day we do not need rifles. A pistol with 10 rounds is good enough for home defense. Someone's hobby is not worth the price paid...
