Re: Parenting - Gushes, Rants, Advice & Worries

Sometimes kids just have to prove to themselves that things work the way they do. The hard way.

Re: Windows Media Player persistent wrong song names

When you're in a particular version of the Play window, you can right-click on a song (or group of songs, but not the playlist title) and select "Find album info". This goes to an online service and tries to find a matching album. From there, choose "Edit" on the left side and it...

Windows Media Player persistent wrong song names

I hate computers with the fire of a thousand singed eyebrows. That said: I'm using Windows Media Player, version 12, on Win7. I have copied a CD onto the hard drive and named all the tracks what they should be called. Now I want to drop these songs into a playlist in WMP. When I did that, none of th...

Unless you're particularly gifted in the making-healthy-new-habits department, it's pretty much always a matter of restarting. Start, get into a habit, fall a little bit out of the habit, then more out, then realise you haven't Done It (whatever It is) for an embarrassingly long time now. Figure out...

Your shoe size should be the checksum of a CAD plot file of your feet scanned at a standard dpi. Or maybe not, but we should be able to get footholders that are much more customised than we currently do. Otherwise why have all this technology?

Sounds like exactly why I'm happy to have a strata council to handle all that.
