What made me really mad about N++ is that by default, it doesn't warn you if you close it with a changed document open that is still unsaved. Of course, it will open it on its next start again, with your edits. But that doesn't help you a lot if you expect those scripts you just wrote to work. Well...

This is a late response, but I get so confused: Rayleigh died in 1916, and scattering his ashes made the sky blue? What color was it before? Gray, of course: haven't you watched any old movies? :p So how come it's blue in old paintings then? I know artists are bit of loonies, but did all of them ju...

They say carnivore meat doesn't taste very good, and i believe there's a risk of getting prion deseases.
While pigs are omnivores and could probably pose the same problems, they are usually fed a vegetarian diet.

Re: Why is dog fighting morally wrong?
Sure, but it's only an animal. We accept pain and death in animals, and even humans, for various reasons. The thrill of the fight and the pleasure of the win can be ample justification. You did not present a convincing argument that the welfare of dogs is to be preferred over the human's gain, excep...

Does the dogs' rights to life and well being take precedence over your (impersonal you, here) right to take pleasure (and potential monetary gain from gambling) in their fighting? (or vice versa, however you want to phrase the question.) Yes. Clearly yes. [justification for tautology needed] What a...

Assume instead of a song, the ship sends a ping at regular 1 second intervals. They'll be received, if i'm right, at longer intervals than that, eg. 2 second for v=0.866c. The thing is, the one on the ship will receive earth's pings at 2s intervals, also! As long as there's a relative movement, both...
