Re: Random natterings

When I'm President in 2020 or 2024, I'm going to order a study creepiness of animals. We will have one database containing detailed 3d renderings generated by what are basically anatomical blueprints. Artists create these blueprints first by creating a detailed 3d rendering, and then detailing all ...

Re: Future War?

Wow! Thanks for all the detail, guys! Do you mean next decade? Next century? Next millennia? The answer could be dramatically different in each case! Next century? I had imagined a situation where drones could kill infantry/people from miles away, possibly without even being seen. This might allow a ...

Future War?

Can anyone make a educated guess as to what the future of combat will be? I mean, assuming humanity survives and still practices violence on a large scale. I'm guessing sophisticated drones shooting lasers at each other from thousands of miles away? Would there be any difference between an war betwe...

My Carcassonne Big Box arrived today. I'm super excited! So many lovely expansions! (I've only played the base game before, and that's my favourite game ever) That is a good game. Over the years I've been feeding birds, I've had a few that came quite close, especially when I was putting out breakfast and especially in breeding season when they were trying to feed chicks.
