Re: Game of Thrones: The TV Show (novelisation coming soon)

That fan theory that always made the most sense to me is that Coldhands is a wight controlled by the Three-Eyed Raven who I always assumed was called that because he was previously known as Bloodraven. That whole idea goes that the Walkers are wargs who can control dead bodies instead of animals so...

Re: Game of Thrones: The TV Show (novelisation coming soon)

There was an unfinished story with Benjen but just meeting up for a moment is no sort of resolution to it. What happened to him? Is he a wight? Is he still Benjen? How come he's not under White Walker control? What does he know about the NK? Just showing up to die doesn't really answer any ...

Re: Game of Thrones: The TV Show (novelisation coming soon)

The season finale was really good. Several really tense scenes, some serious high fantasy epicness and quite a bit of stuff I've been waiting to see for decades. The show did rush and stumble its way to some of the resolutions but I really like how they turned out. Not even sure where to start here....

Re: Game of Thrones: The TV Show (novelisation coming soon)

Yeah, Jon and Dany aren't that closely related and, more importantly, they didn't known each other until they were adults which is where most of the creep factor comes from. We have really strong proof that the Night King has the same kind of magic as Bran which is why he can see and touch ...

S07E06: I actually quite liked the way events in the North developed. It wasn't exactly a mind-blowing twist but they finally established some actual threat and really developed the relationship between Dany and Jon. So for that I am willing to forgive them the Gendry-crow-dragon relay race shen...

I've come from the future to say the following about S07E06: I am once again disappointed by Sansa. Re: Game of Thrones: The TV Show (novelisation coming soon)

What I'm interested in is if the writers of the show do have an internal, consistent and planned-out timetable, but they simply decide not to show any kind of travel that's not relevant, or if they only have an ordered list of events and decide not to care about the logistics of travel. I think its...

I would flip this around. Jupiter was just a tedious slog and while Valerian certainly had nothing more substantial to say or show, it spent a lot less time pretending to be deep and insightful.

I liked it, a lot. Both the humor and drama were good but the former was a bit too ubiquitous to the (slight) detriment of emotional scenes. It was a single step from becoming a pure comedy. I'm talking about rational self-interest, which has nothing to do with optimism or naivete. If saner heads prevail, then they will negotiate in good faith. Does passport color actually have anything to do with being in the EU? Mine is burgundy, I guess, but it was the same color before my country joined the EU. From Diadem's link plenty of the red/burgundy passports are also not members of the EU like Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Monaco, and Russia.

The first of these doesn't seem to stack up because several of them have even less of an accent than Laura.
