I LOVED this comic. I work as a network engineer ("RF engineer") for one of the Big Four, and without going into any proprietary details, there are some interesting reasons for this. First: My unnecessarily-nice WiFi router cost $180. Cell site servers and radios cost a LOT more than that...

Where is that map of?

(Not that it makes any difference as, because of the reasons given, its going to spin round its own axis sooner of later anyway. )

The worst hurricanes, in my experience, were the six or seven Hurricanes consumed by me in Pat O'Brien's Bar, New Orleans in nineteen ninety something while attending a conference in the city.

I still shudder at the (hazy) memory of the aftermath.
