too many posts to read through....anyone mention "Murder by Death"? yet (http://www.murderbydeath.com/)...they opened for Reverend Horton Heat (awesome!) when they came through town a year or 3 ago...they're a great band...really odd lyric/melody relation....interesting concepts and a hot...

My problem with Christian rock is when it brands itself as Christian rock above all other genres. I mean, I respect the focus on the message, but when it comes to music, the music comes first IMO. That being said, there are definitely some good Christian bands. My personal favorite is He Is Legend....
