That being said, while I don't know exactly how the details would work, I wouldn't be opposed to some kind of appeal process for patents where it can be shown conclusively they are not being utilized. I'm pretty sure compelling a company to license a patent when they would otherwise refuse to do so...

I'll bite: was there anything in particular that drew you to watch Funny Games? Everything I've read about it suggests that the film's creators quite deliberately set out to make something thoroughly uncomfortable to watch, which sort of puts it into a different category of badness.

Huh, I thought FFXV was already on PC. It's good to hear about FFXII, but it would have been shocking if that didn't get ported for some reason.

Of course, there's an English patch for the PS2 version, but then you've have to have a PS2 or set up a PS2 emulator.
