Re: Airbender and Korra - Shyamalan's Masterpiece Animated

In some cases network meddling actually improves the final product. The creators didn't exactly make the best romance plots ever conceived. Needing to take a more subtle approach with "Korrasami" made their relationship feel like much more natural progression. We need not speak of the disa...

I migrated to Steamworks Dark Souls. My saves imported no problem, and I ran a few invasions without issue. Load times were always quick for me, and the updated DSFIX is working as it should.

Re: Airbender and Korra - Shyamalan's Masterpiece Animated

This season has been amazing from start to finish... the finale really shines as one of the best of LoK, and perhaps even TLA. They really took a lesson from past mistakes and came out swinging. I just purchased the series DVDs of Avatar:TLA and Blu-rays of Seasons 1 and 2 of LoK and the streaming v...

Comcast business internet - migrating away from static IPs

So here's my conundrum. I have Comcast business internet with 5 static IP addresses to host a few servers. Servers that I no longer am running. I'd like to drop the static addresses so I can save $20 a month AND so that I can use my own modem ( Comcast forces you to RENT their modem to use static ad...

Re: X-Men: Future Days of Past

I found it humorous that this entire movie was nearly a duplicate of the cartoon show, "Wolverine & the X-Men", including ending with Apokalyps being the next threat. And they probably cut out the Phoenix plot because it was done in the other movies. Seriously, they're nearly the same!...

This is the sequel to my robotic vacuum post  Anyone remember the meteor that whizzed over Russia not to terribly long ago? Perfectly, I actually have an area rug and it does the rug first then moves onto the hardwood. I'm pretty sure it adjusts the brush height automatically for the surface it is cleaning. That's good to hear, I've been taking a break from it (since the third episode or so) as it wasn't catching my interest. I'll let the season record and then watch it all in one go to decide if I'm going to bother with season 2 or not. If there is a season 2.

I'm going to second Donnie Yen as Ip Man, great fights. One of the best choreographed movies I've ever seen. They use cuts of slow motion so you can actually SEE what's going on. Re: Blind and want a gun? Go to Iowa

A CCW is not a permit to fire a gun, it is a permit to carry one. Legally blind and legally competent is just as able to carry a concealed weapon as sighted and legally competent is. The typical response to the question of why do you want a CCW is self-defense, but it is not the only valid one. No p...

Blind man shoots self in leg , eventually gets guns back. Also doubles as a case of too fucking stupid to know he can't handle guns, since he still insists he can handle guns. He is exactly the type of person that shouldn't be allowed near guns; he insists he's capable even when he's not . I rememb...

I just wanted to mention I once had a team miss six 95%+ shots chances in a row. My entire team missed an enemy a few feet in front of them. I got shot to pieces and started over from a save.
