Dark Cultist isn't a good fit in the current priest decks, so it'll be interesting to see what new shells start popping up.

Re: Hearthstone

Holy Nova is a pretty good card, and worth considering, but it doesn't make Shadowform good. Well, no, that you might get hilariously blown out by Holy Nova is just an added bonus for priest players. The actual problem with that particular play is that it does literally nothing to deal with the spe...

Re: Hearthstone

Definitely. Auchenai Soulpriest is one of the best rares you can get. Shadowform is just better than average for an epic, because fully half of the neutral epics are garbage and mind games sucks. You can drop a mess of them at once, knowing only one will die. I'm pretty sure playing around shadowfor...

Re: Hearthstone

Its only immediate impact on the board is that, if you play it on turn 5 or later, it becomes a 5 mana Holy Smite. Use it before then and you miss a vital 3/4 drop, losing you a ridiculous amount of tempo. After you use it, you then have to pour more mana into it, reducing your mana efficiency furt...

I always recommend getting the first Deku Stick upgrade before even entering the Great Deku Tree, but you don't need more than a couple of deku sticks after the Deku Tree, Goron City, and Dodongo's Cavern, which is where they are most necessary. And they aren't very practical as a weapon, because t...

That was the same wall I hit and was referring to up above, and that's the mechanic that's really friggin poorly designed. Like really poorly designed. And actually, ST is already past it as he got to the Huntsman's Copse. Talk to the cleric lady in Heide's Tower till she moves. Find her again ...

Mostly I was thinking of extra heavy ganking junglers like Jarvan or Kha'zix. Sure, you clear faster, but it delays your biggest power spike until after the window where you can have the biggest impact, and you really don't want to be spending as much time farming as a Shyvana or something, so you d...

People also seem to build feral flare on everyone , even characters for whom it is obviously a bad idea. High skill cap champs that get played a lot because people think it's easy end up with low win rate. E.g. leblanc. Which is a total bullshit example, since she wins more games in bronze than diam...

Thresh ofc is still the best over if you're good with him, but most aren't.. Hold on a sec there. Thresh's win rate is about the same in diamond as in bronze. Rather than being a matter of mechanics, it's about having people you can reliably coordinate with. Same with Lee Sin and Elise, who are bot...

Every duo partner I accepted, was only because they stomped in game. Then every time we duo'ed we stomped the enemy team. I had 80% win rates with all my old duo partners. 1) I probably should not have said smurf when what I really meant was the vast skill level differences in silver. OK, but that has the exact same problem. If they're vastly more or less skilled, they wouldn't be getting matched with you. People have good or bad games, and you only get to see one. W...

5) Another problem is smurfs. The skill level ranges are insane. Since I am not a Smurf my team has a 20% lower chance of having a smurf. According to the website, it applies to the item quality roll, as a multiplier to the item's chance to be legendary. Not 100% sure how that impacts the amount of legendaries you actually find. In any case, I agree. It's only worth it if you're mowing through stuff pretty much exactly as fast as you ...

MF is still found on some gear, but it's largely worthless. Only 10% of your MF applies to finding legendaries, which is really not that much. Given how often legendaries already drop, it's such a marginal increase in drop chance that you may as well ignore it completely. That's silly. If it's not ...

That's hard to do because "weapons" isn't a valid theme for a deck. It's fundamentally unsupported by the mechanic because they naturally have negative synergy with each other.

Respawn caps I'm ambivalent about. It makes boss runs a bit easier. For example, the run to the boss of Sinner's citadel there's a lift with a foot plate, surrounded by 3 crossbowmen. You need to kill at least 1 of them to survive the ride; 2 kills with 1 bowman up means you just shield at him and ...

The report system errs on the side of false negatives. You have to be Sir Shitty Shittington III, High Lord of all Shits to be sent to the tribunal, but the overwhelming majority of of tribunal cases are punished.

Most banned players just make new accounts. That problem seems nigh unsolvable.
