I liked it. Is there a storyline you plan for it to follow? At the end of the first paragraph, it says "About the man." Which disagrees with the tense of the rest of it. "About me" would be more fitting. Also, there are some places where you might want to use synonyms ie... "...

another one of mine. this one puts me in a comforting place evey time I read it, for that is the objective. An overwhelming tranquility I share a gaze with the moon, its radiance almost dull in contrast to the sun. I close my eyes and feel the sun sink behind me, its distant tails of flame alighting...

Card games?

There aren't many card players out where I've moved to and it makes me incredibly sad. I'm a big fan of Euchre, Cribbage, Kings And Sets (Golf), Mao, and the occasional bout of President. Slap is also a great game. I was never too into card games whuch require unique decks (Wizard, Phase 10, etc) bu...

A City Torn Asunder A crunch beneath my feet, this soil is too black to be rich. Rich, though, is the air, with a hesitance to call it such. Rich not with oxygen, but with a blackness to mar the city at my feet. With a tainted sharpness, the gloomy light glances off the freshly scored stone pillars,...

The Receiving End Of Sirens
The only people I've ever talked to who had even heard of them were people who went to a concert on their tour.
But as emphatically as I can say, they totally rock.

Also, I don't know how popular National Product is but they are pretty good too.

Sort of, but their efforts put forth in the other thread make me wonder why they even made the poll. Maybe solarchem's personal preference? But I don't think they deserve a win. It's between Ren and MJ in my books.

Could you give a map of the route? Would you be heading east out of 'loo? If you are going south first (I don;t know how plausible that is...) you could save me the drive up from London.

As of now, my round trip to London would cost me $388 CAD plus tax. This is a possibility.

Stephen R. Lawhead. So far everything of his that I've read/am reading is really good. It may be closer to historical fiction than fantasy, but as an avid fantasy fan I highly recommend them.
Most specifically the Pendragon cycle, comprised of Taliesin, Merlin, Arthur, Pendragon, Grail, Avalon.
